Renowned life coach Iyanla Vanzant had a conversation with Jada Pinkett Smith regarding her "healing journey" and her recently released best-selling novel, "Worthy."
Pinkett Smith stated on Vanzant's podcast, The R Spot, "You know, being the heroine of my own story was me coming to terms with every aspect of it," according to Black Enterprise.
embracing both my light and my gloom. To be honest, I was terrified of my light just as much as I was of my darkness. ... coming to the realization that what had been lacking the entire time was my relationship with the great supreme and myself. This relationship is what matters most.
Pinkett Smith released a number of shocking revelations during the current book tour; the most unexpected one was the admission that she and Will had not been together since 2016. She also says that Chris Rock once asked her out on a date and that Tupac proposed to her.
The notorious Oscars slap at the 2022 Academy Awards is another topic included in the memoir.
Pinkett Smith previously recalled the incident in which Will Smith slapped Chris Rock on stage after the comedian made a joke about Jada's bald head, saying, "I thought, 'This is a skit,'" according to People. "I thought there was no way Will could have hit him. I didn't even know it wasn't a skit until Will began to return to his chair.
"Are you okay?" Jada questioned Will when they were alone following the performance.
In the course of her discussion with Iyanla, the host of Red Table Talk expressed her satisfaction in "creating a close bond with myself," stating that "the ultimate moment is when I truly witnessed my life taking the path I had intended it to take." "And realized that's me reaching out to the inner hero to reclaim my life's power."
