After allegedly striking the host of Power 106 with a microphone, 50 Cent was charged with battery.

After reportedly hitting a woman in the head with a microphone during a live concert, 50 Cent has been identified as a suspect in a criminal battery case.

Fif became irate at the production team on Wednesday night (August 30) at the rap star's sold out Final Lap tour stop at L.A.'s Crypto.com Arena due to technical issues with several of his mics. He once threw his microphone into the production area during his performance, and it landed on the victim's forehead.

The woman, who has been identified as radio anchor Bryhana Monegain of Power 106, went to a nearby hospital following the incident and had a laceration to her skull as a result. Since then, Monegain has reported the rapper to the police, claiming that he was staring at her when he threw the microphone.

The victim's account, according to TMZ, appears to claim that the damage was purposefully caused rather than an accident. According to Page Six sources, the victim was in an area of the arena that was off-limits when the event took place.

The second such incident to garner headlines in hip-hop in recent months is 50 Cent's mic-throwing incident. After flinging a microphone at a woman in the audience during a performance in late July, Cardi B was named as a suspect in a battery case. Cardi, who threw the microphone after the victim threw a drink at her, was finally exonerated of all charges in connection with the incident.

Some of the greatest names in rap attended the Los Angeles stop of Fif's Final Lap tour. Throughout the course of the evening, Nas, Chris Brown, DaBaby, YG, and Tyga all showed up as unexpected guests.

Due to extreme heat, the G-Unit frontman recently had to postpone his performance in Phoenix, Arizona.
