Jalen Hood-Schifino participates in Adidas All-American Camp
At the Adidas All-American Camp on Wednesday, Jalen Hood-Schifino, a rookie with the Los Angeles Lakers, was among those who observed the nation's finest high school players.

A number of athletes who were ranked among the top 100 in 2024 competed in the event, including Annor Boateng (No. 38, uncommitted), VJ Edgecombe (No. 21, uncommitted), Ian Jackson (5, North Carolina), Khani Rooths (No. 23, uncommitted), and Kur Teng (No. 48, Michigan State).

According to Krysten Peek of Yahoo Sports, at least 10 NBA clubs were present scouting the athletes because it was a star-studded competition. As the fifth-ranked recruit, Jackson was undoubtedly the night's biggest draw.

Hood-Schifino arrived at the occasion in a car as the most recent athlete to join with Adidas. He and Gradey Dick, the organization's first two rookies this season, have signed sponsorship agreements with the Three Stripes. They had previously been Adidas college representatives.

In six summer league games with the Lakers, the 20-year-old Hood-Schifino averaged 13.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.3 steals. Four times, the 17th pick scored at least 15 points, including once on July 5 when he set a summer league record with 20 points.
