David Beckham, the soccer icon, knows how to dazzle fans and restaurant owners alike.

Beckham was in North Texas when Inter Miami came to Frisco to play FC Dallas in a sold-out game that was the talk of the town, even if Lionel Messi's late free-kick powered the team to victory.

Beckham stopped by Blu's Barbeque before the game. The Dallas Morning News was the first to report on the unexpected halt at the modest restaurant located in a shipping container off Preston Road.

Victoria Beckham, Beckham's wife, recorded the footage while they ordered brisket, ribs, and pork belly burnt ends.

Meeting his hero, according to the restaurant manager, was the finest day of his life.

"I wanted to make a joke about him and say, 'Hey, did anybody tell you you look like David Beckham?'" But I didn't realize the joke was on me because he was standing right in front of me and I genuinely asked him, 'Are you David Beckham?' "When he says, 'I'm David Beckham,' I'm like, wow, that's unreal," Blu's Barbeque manager Rahul Bagchi said. "There was no emotion, I was like completely blank, star-struck."

Bagchi claims she gave everyone food samples. Who are their favorites? The charred ends of pork belly.

Bagchi hopes to meet Beckham again and celebrate with a barbecue party one day.
