Lil Nas X Breaks Silence After Chaotic Arrest in Los Angeles

🎤 Grammy-winning artist Lil Nas X is speaking out following a headline-grabbing incident in Studio City that led to his arrest and four felony charges. The 26-year-old rapper, born Montero Hill, was taken into custody early Thursday morning after reports surfaced of a nude man behaving erratically on Ventura Boulevard.

🚨 A Wild Night Caught on Camera
Multiple viral clips showed the “Old Town Road” star wandering the streets around 4 AM wearing only white underwear and cowboy boots, interacting with pedestrians and balancing a traffic cone on his head. In one particularly surreal moment, he was seen fully nude, shouting lyrics from Nicki Minaj’s “Monster” as cars passed by.

When LAPD officers arrived, the situation reportedly escalated. Authorities claim Hill became aggressive, charging at officers and injuring three of them. Suspecting a possible overdose, police transported him to a hospital before booking him into Van Nuys jail, where he remained over the weekend without bail.

⚖️ Legal Fallout and Court Appearance
On Monday, Lil Nas X pleaded not guilty to three felony counts of battery with injury on a peace officer and one count of resisting an executive officer. He was released on $75,000 bail and ordered to attend four Narcotics Anonymous meetings per week or enter outpatient treatment as a condition of release.

Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman issued a stern statement: “Attacking police officers is more than just a crime against those individuals but a direct threat to public safety. Anyone who assaults law enforcement will face serious consequences, no matter who they are or how famous they may be”.

📱 “Terrifying” Experience Shared with Fans
Just hours after regaining his freedom, Lil Nas X addressed fans via Instagram Stories. “Your girl is going to be OK y’all. OK? She’s going to be alright, she’s going to be alright,” he said. “Sh-t. That was f-cking terrifying. That was terrifying! That was a terrifying last four days, but your girl is going to be alright”.

His attorney, Drew Findling, described the incident as an “aberration” and emphasized that Hill had never been in legal trouble before. “We’re not going to let one little event change the trajectory of his amazing life,” Findling told reporters.

📅 What’s Next
Lil Nas X is scheduled to appear in court for a pretrial hearing on September 15. As the legal process unfolds, fans and critics alike are watching closely—not just for the outcome, but for what this moment might mean for one of music’s most boundary-pushing stars.
