The largest and best athletes in the world are getting ready for one of the most prestigious events of the year—the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris—where they'll be joined by a somewhat unexpected figure: Snoop Dogg.
Alongside Olympics host Mike Tirico, the rapper, actor, and businessman will go to Paris this summer to serve as Special Correspondent for NBC's primetime coverage of the Games, the network announced.
As per NBC, starting from July 26, he would "discover the city's notable sites, witness Olympic contests and activities, and interact with the athletes, their companions, and relatives."
"Having watched the Olympics since I was a child, I'm ecstatic to witness the amazing athletes compete at their best in Paris. The singer released a statement saying, "It's a celebration of skill, dedication, and the pursuit of greatness."
